All Green Lawn Treatments carries out a range of lawn fertiliser and weed control treatments all through the year. These are tailored to the season and the health of your grass to give you a lush green lawn.
What are the treatments?
We use a range of fertilisers and herbicides (weed killers) specially selected to address the most common lawn problems. All Green only use professional-grade products. These contain higher levels of active ingredients than the weed killers and fertilisers you are able to buy over the counter. At All Green we’re fully trained and qualified in the handling of these products to ensure the safety of you and your family. Our years of experience guarantee that when using these products, we’ll take gentle care of your grass.
Different times of year raise different issues and require different treatments. All Green provides a year-round collection of solutions tailored to your lawn.
Spring Lawn Treatments
After the long winter months your grass will be ready for a nutrient boost. The fertilisers we use contain everything that your lawn will need to give it a kick-start for the rest of the year. All Green uses a controlled-release granular fertiliser. As the name suggests these fertilisers release nutrients into the soil over a controlled period of time.
Spring is also the time that we would apply a liquid weed killer to tackle broad-leafed weeds. Broad-leafed weeds include such plants as dandelions, buttercups and clover. Our selective herbicides are strong enough to kill the weeds but won't harm the grass.
Summer Lawn Treatments
All Green provides two distinct sets of services in early and late summer respectively: -
Early Summer Lawn Treatments
In early summer, fertilisers can burn or scorch your lawn as moisture is lost from it. Therefore we use a low scorch fertiliser to reduce this risk. The homogenous granules we use give a controlled release of nutrients throughout the summer.
All Green will use another selective weed killer in early summer. This time the focus is on killing harder to kill weeds such as germander speedwell and celandine.
Late Summer Lawn Treatments
Late summer fertilisers contain all the nutrients your lawn needs to take it through the drier warmer months, all the way to the autumn.
All Green’s late summer weed killer treatments are designed to control any weeds that may have recently germinated.
Autumn Lawn Treatments
In autumn we start to think about preparing your lawn for the colder weather, and looking ahead to the following year. The fertiliser that we use at this time of year contains nutrients that strengthen root development. Stronger roots equal stronger grass, and greener healthier lawns.
Weed control largely consists of spot treatment of any remaining weeds that may have appeared on your lawn.
Winter Lawn Treatments
During the winter your lawn requires less attention. However there are still some treatments that we can carry out. Fertilisers used at this time are again focused on root strengthening to toughen up your lawn during the winter weather.
All Green’s treatments also contain ingredients that control the growth of moss to give you a better looking lawn.
All Green All Year
All Green Lawn Treatments offer customers a year round service without asking them to tie themselves into a contract. We start with our free lawn analysis, where we’ll identify which fertiliser and/or herbicide treatments would most benefit your lawn. You get a copy of our recommendations together with a quote for the work.
Although we may propose a programme of treatments to be carried out across the seasons, All Green won’t make you commit to this in advance. Rather we adopt a pay as you go system. You still get the continuity of a treatment plan but without being bound to a long contract.
